Daena Foundation to Host Shab-e Chelleh (Yalda) Celebration in Long Island
The Daena Foundation will host a Shab-e Chelleh (Yalda Night) celebration on December 20 in Long Island, New York. Shab-e Chelleh is an ancient Persian festival symbolising the triumph of light over darkness and the rebirth of the sun.
The event will feature DJ Aliazz, playing Persian music throughout the evening, along with authentic Persian cuisine catered by Ravagh Restaurant.
Early bird tickets are available at a discounted rate until December 15, and special discounts for students are also offered.
The celebration will take place at the Iranian Armenian Society, located at 3903 Little Neck Pkwy, Flushing, NY 11363.
